A former lode Au-Cu occurrence/prospect/mine located in the SE¼SW¼ (estimated) sec. 32, T14N, R7E, MDM, 3.3 km (2.0 miles) SSE of Rock Mountain (coordinates of record), along the N side of the Bear River (2 miles WSW of Lucas Hill). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in diorite and diabase. The ore body strikes N and dips W at a thickness of 0.91 meter. Gossan occurs in metavolcanic rocks. The vein is 2 feet thick with 9 to 41% Cu & some Au.
Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a shaft and 2 pits.
