A former lode Au-Cu occurrence/mine located in secs. 3 & 4, T17N, R13E, MDM, 0.6 km (0.4 mile) NE of Old Man Mountain and 2.5 km (1.6 miles) SE of Baltimore Town (site), on the E slope of the N spur of the mountain. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
The ore body strikes N48W and dips 80W at a thickness of 3.05 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of strippings and short adits.
