A former Au-Pb-Cu-Zn occurrence/mine located in the SW¼ sec. 2 & in the NE¼ sec. 11, T16N, R8E, MDM, 0.5 km (0.3 mile) ENE of Indian Flat (coordinates of record) and about ¾ mile NW of Nevada City, N of highway 49. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is hosted in syenite, slate and granite. The ore body is 3.66 meters thick. The hanging wall is syenitic granite and the footwall is slate. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 1,828.8 meters and an overall depth of 182.88 meters and comprised of a tunnel, shafts, and extensive drifting.
