A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the E½NW¼ sec. 9, T14N, R8E, MDM, 6.8 km (4.3 miles) ESE of Rock Mountain (coordinates of record), 4 miles W of Higgins Corner. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is hosted in diorite and gabbro. The ore body is comprised of stringers at a thickness of 1.68 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 198.12 meters and an overall depth of 126.49 meters and comprised of shafts and drifts.

Production data are found in: Logan, Clarence August (1941).

Production information: $20,000 (period values) of Au was taken from one 150 foot shaft in early 1936.

Analytical data results: Average assays estimated at $10.80 (period values) from a 150 foot long ore shoot.
