A former lode Au-Cu-As occurrence/prospect/mine located in the S½ secs. 11 & 12, in the NW¼ sec. 13 & in the NE¼ sec. 14, T14N, R16E, MDM, 2.3 km (1.4 miles) WSW of Chambers Lodge, S of Quail Lake, on private land within a National Forest area. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in schist, quartzite and granite. Bands of sulfide mineralization occur parallel to the direction of schistosity. The host rocks form small roof pendants. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 121.92 meters and comprised of adits.
