A former asbestos occurrence/mine located in the NW¼SE¼SE¼ sec. 29 & in the NE¼ sec. 32, T6S, R5E, SBM, 4.0 km (2.5 miles) NW of Pinyon Pines, at the NW edge of Pinyon Flat, W of Palm Canyon Drive. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 2 (Peninsular Ranges).

Data regarding workings are not presented (the topo map reflects 1 open cast mine symbol just SW of this point).
