A former silica occurrence/mine located in the SW¼SW¼NW¼ sec. 26, T5S, R1W, SBM, 0.1 km (0.1 mile) WSW of Hemet Butte, on the western slope of the butte, and 4.4 km (2.7 miles) SSE of Hemet. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 2 (Peninsular Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings (the topo map reflects 1 adit symbol at this point).
