A clay occurrence/prospect located in sec. 17 & in the NW¼ sec. 19, T4S, R6W, SBM, 3.9 km (2.4 miles) SW of El Cerrito (center), N of Bedford Wash, along the eastern margin of the Santa Ana Mountains (7 miles SE of Corona). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. This site is now apparently a developed residential area.

The ore body strikes E-W and dips 20SE at a length of 457.2 meters. The silica deposit is a chain of 4 hills of unconsolidated sand at 97.45% SiO2. Local rocks include Paleocene marine rocks, unit 1 (Central and Southern California) and/or Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include unspecified surface openings.
