A reported Au occurrence located in T8S, R21E, SBM, , 4.8 km (3.0 miles) SE of the Mule Mountains (coordinates of record), 7.8 km (4.8 miles) NW of Palo Verde (Imperial County) and 9.4 km (5.8 miles) E of Wiley Well (coordinates of record), along the eastern margin of the Mule Mountains, on Pale Verde Mesa. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10,000 meters (sic).
Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
NOTE: In view of the stated lack of accuracy for this locality, it may very well be somewhere in the Mule Mountains.
