A former Au-Cu occurrence/mine located in the N½SW¼NW¼ sec. 16, T2S, R12E, SBM, about 8.4 km NE of Pinto Mountain (summit). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include unspecified underground openings (the topo map reflects 1 shaft symbol at this point and 3 prospect pit symbols around it).
