Developed as an asbestos mine in 1941 on crocidolite veins in dolomite and magnesian marble beds of the Skillogalee Dolomite.
Reported production from 1941-51, 82.3 tonnes.

Description: Siltstone, laminated; shale; sandstone, heavy mineral lamination, quartzose to feldspathic, cross bedding; dolomite, blue-grey to pale pink, lenticular.

Comments: argillaceous detrital sediment; synthesis of multiple published descriptions
