A former asbestos-Cr (May be either asbestos or chromite - MRDS note), located in the NW¼SW¼ sec. 26, T18S, R12E, MDM, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) WSW of Santa Pita Peak (coordinates of record), along the S side of the San Benito River. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 3 (Coast Ranges and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include unspecified surface openings (The topo map refrlects 1 open cazst mine symbol labeled as this mine at this point).
