A Cr occurrence located in sec. 11, T18S, R12E, MDM, 1.8 km (1.1 miles; 5,900 feet) NW of Picacho Peak (coordinates of record). Owned by Ramon Tirado, California (1975).

Mineralization is hosted in rocks of the Franciscan and Panoche Formations (Late Cretaceous serpentinite). The ore body is lenticular and podiform. The serpentine is highly sheared in most places. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 3 (Coast Ranges and Western Klamath Mountains).
