A former Sn occurrence/mine located in sec. 25, T15N, R13E, SBM, about 5.6 km NNW of Kessler Peak (summit), on federal reservation land (Mojave National Preserve/East Mojave National Scenic Area). The property is comprised of 2 claims located in the E½ section 25. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in Pennsylvanian Limestone. Tin ore occurs as small kidneys along a talcose slip in dolomitic limestone. Local rocks include Permian to Tertiary, most Mesozoic, Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings (there are several mining symbols near this point that can not be attributed to this mine with any degree of certainty).
