A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 29, T14N, R1E, SBM, 1.8 km (1.1 miles) SE of Goldstone (site) (4.0 miles S of the South shore, Goldstone Lake). The property is comprised of 5 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in shale and schist. The ore body strikes N60W and dips 25NE at a thickness of 0.91 meter. 2 parallel veins occur at 12 inches (30 cm) to 3 feet (0.91 meter) thick. A strike fault cuts the vein between 100 and 160 feet below the collar of the shaft. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Northern Mojave Desert and Southeastern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 121.92 meters and comprised of a 400 foot shaft with levels at 100, 160, 230 and 330 feet plus 1,000 feet of drifts and crosscuts. A 25-ton amalgamation & concentration plant was erected.

Production data are found in: Tucker, W. Burling & Reid J. Sampson (1931); Tucker, W. Burling & Reid J. Sampson (1943b); Wright, L.A., et al (1953).

A small amount of ore was produced in 1941 and ran $14 (period values) Au/ton (free-milling).

Analytical data results: Ore mined was said to carry $8 to $20 (period values) Au/ton.
