A former Au occurrence/group of claims/mine located in sec. 3, T6N, R4W, SBM, 2.3 km (1.4 miles) WSW of Silver Mountain (coordinates of record) (1 mile NE of Sparkhule Mountain summit), on private land. The property is comprised of 12 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in rocks of the Sidewinder Series (rhyolite). The ore body strikes E and dips 35S. The deposit is comprised of 2 parallel veins 80 feet apart. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 3 (Mojave Desert, Death Valley area, and Eastern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 100 foot incline.
