A former fluorspar-W occurrence/mine located in sec. 22, T17N, R13E, SBM, 3.1 km (1.9 miles) NNE of Clark Mountain (coordinates of record), along Curtis Canyon. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include Devonian marine rocks, unit 1 (Death Valley).
