A pumice deposit located in sec. 32, T9N, R22E, SBM, about 9.6 km NE of Eagle Peak and 6.6 km (4.1 miles) WSW of Needles, along the eastern margin of the Sacramento Mountains. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
NOTE: The USGS MRDS database file presents a T&R value of R003E, which is in error. The correct value was discerned from the topo map. Also, the MRDS file truncates the name of this locality as "Lavic Stone Corp. volcani" and may be "Lavic Stone Corp. volcanic....."
Local rocks include Precambrian igneous and metamorphic rock complex.
