A Au-Cu prospect located in the E½NE¼ sec. 25, T12N, R17E, and in the S½ sec. 19 and in the S½ & NW¼ sec. 30, T12N, R18E, SBM, 5.9 km (3.7 miles) NE of the Vontrigger Hills (coordinates of record) and 9.0 km (5.6 miles) ESE of Lanfair (town), at the northern limit of the Vontrigger Hills (5 miles SE of Lanfair Buttes), on federal reservation land (Mojave National Preserve/East Mojave National Scenic Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in gneiss and occurs along alaskite dikes associated with nearly vertical shear zones. Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 7 shafts and numerous pits.
