A former placer Au-PGE (Pt-Os-Ir-Ru) mine located 2.2 km (7,200 feet) N of Dogtown and 4.7 km (2.9 miles) N of Clements, N of the Mokelumne River. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

NOTE: Topo maps reflect several shaded areas which apparently depict dredge tailings, along several streams in this area.

Mineralization is placer material in stream gravels. Local rocks include Plio-Pleistocene and Pliocene loosely consolidated deposits.
