A Mn occurrence/prospect located in sec. 33, T6S, R5E, MDM, about 4.3 km NNW of Black Mountain (summit), E of Beauregard Creek, on private land (identified claim). Owned by Matt Keller and Mrs Antonia Harris (1974). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Alternate coordinates provided: 37°22'03"N, 121°25'59"W

Mineralization is a Mn deposit. The ore body is 0.61 meters wide and 15.24 meters long. Disseminated Mn oxide in white chert is exposed for 50 feet, with a maximum width of 2 feet. It is displaced by several faults. On the N side, the ore body lies almost parallel to the ground, dipping 15N, but on the S side it is folded into a sharp anticline. The footwall is shaly chert and the hanging wall is thin-bedded brown chert. The footwall exposure contains 4 feet of low-grade ore. Local rocks include the Franciscan melange.

Workings include surface operations.
