A Mn occurrence/prospect located in the SE¼ sec. 26, T5S, R4E, MDM, 5.5 km (3.4 miles) ESE of Eylar Mountain (coordinates of record), along Pulse Canyon, E of Arroyo mocho, in the NE corner of the county. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

The ore body is 3.35 meters thick. Massive white chert carries thin films of Mn oxide that pinches out, or is faulted, off to the S end and N end of the cut. Thin-bedded, red chert is found to the S and thin-bedded shaly chert to the N. Further N an extremely faulted and brecciated mass of brown and white chert encloses an irregular ore body, 2 to 11 feet thick. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan melange.

Analytical data results: The average grade of the ore is 20% Mn.
