A former lode Au mine located in sec. 15, T32N, R5W, MDM, 1.2 km (3,900 feet) SSW of Quartz Hill (coordinates of record). The property consisted of 1 claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a tabular ore body at 1.83 meters thick. The deposit is comprised of 2 ore veins which intersect at depth. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings compriosed of a 165 foot shaft, a 45 foot and a 60 foot drift at the 100 foot level.
