A Cu occurrence located in sec. 13, T33N, R5W, MDM, 3.8 km (2.4 miles) NNW of Shasta Lake City, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in shale and chert. The ore body dips S40W at a width of 9.14 meters and a length of 60.96 meters. The rhyolite appears to be a dike striking almost due S. The deposit is near the summit of a spur ridge from Bass Mountain. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains). No Cu indications in smaller cuts or tunnels.
Wrkings include underground openings of a length of 51.82 meters.
