A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the SW¼ (estimated) sec. 19, T18N, R9E, MDM, 3.5 km (2.2 miles) S of Pike, along the N canyon wall of the Middle Yuba River (3 miles SSE of Camptonville), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 6 (Northwestern Sierra Nevada) and/or undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
