A Mn occurrence/claim located in sec. 10, T6S, R5E, MDM, about 5.0 km (3.1 miles) E of Red Mountain and 5.4 miles W of Copper Mountain, on privately leased land. Discovered in 1941. Owned by Mary Lou Thronson (1974). Operated by the Western Manganese Co. (1974). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10,000 meters.
Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 3 (Coast Ranges and Western Klamath Mountains).
