A former Mn mine located in the SW¼ sec. 6, T5S, R6E, MDM, 2.7 km (8,800 feet) NE of Mount Oso, along Grummett Creek (about ¼ mile SW of the Grummett-Knox Mine on the S side of the road near the top of the first hill). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

The ore body strikes NE and dips vertically. Oxide ore occurs as a lens in thin-bedded white schist. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan melange.
