A Cr occurrence located in sec. 2, T28N, R10W, MDM (assumed spot at center of E½ of sec. 2), 2.0 km (6,600 feet) NNE of Little Red Mountain, along an unnamed tributary of Beegum Creek (next tributary E from Little Red Mountain Creek), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in serpentinite. This occurrence is at the S end of the Beegum Creek body, an irregularly exposed ultramafic belt that trends NW from Little Red Mountain into Trinity County. The exposed ultramfic rock is 3 to 4 km wide in the vicinity of Little Red Mountain. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).
