A former placer Au mine located in sec. 21, T8N, R8E, HM, 1.9 km (6,200 feet) W of Pony Buttes (coordinates of record) and 2.7 km (8,900 feet) S from Marysville, along Emigrant Creek, on Bureau of Land Management land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). First produced in 1904. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
