A former lode Au mine located in the S½NE¼ sec. 32, T39N, R8W, MDM, 0.3 km (900 feet) ESE of Eagle Peak (coordinates of record) (1 mile S of Middle Boulder Lake), on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in hornblendite and diorite. The ore body is 0.91 meters thick. Hornblende-diorite dikes intrude serpentine and peridotite. Associated rocks include peridotite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 5 (Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 50 foot shaft.
