A placer Au occurrence located in secs. 1, 2, 11 & 12, T36N, R7W, MDM, 1.7 km (5,500 feet) NNE of Manzanita Butte, on the western slope of Plummer Hill, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 4 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
