A placer Au occurrence located in sec. 34, T35N, R8W, MDM, 2.7 km (8,900 feet) E of the Minersville site and 3.6 km (2.2 miles) ESE of Estrellita, on the eastern slope of Bowerman Ridge, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 4 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).
