A Mn occurrence located in sec. 2, T4S, R6E, HM, 0.3 km (900 feet) SSE of Kettenpom Peak (coordinates of record). Discovered 1942. Owned by Rohrbough Ranch, California (1974). Operated by Rae F. Helmke, California (1974). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is a Mn deposit. The ore is a large body of Mn oxide ore. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).

Analytical data results: Ore grade 34% Mn, 29% silica.
