A Pb-Cu-Zn-As-Sb occurrence located in sec. 25, T17S, R31E (MDM), 0.7 km (0.4 miles) SSE of Rainbow Mountain (coordinates of record) and 5.6 km (3.5 miles) SE of Mineral King, on National Park Service land (Sequoia National Park) (also stated to be on National Forest land and game reserve land). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in limestone. The ore body strikes N50W and dips 70NE. Mineralization occurs in thin-bedded limestone intercalated with slate. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of several prospect shafts and tunnels.
