Royal Tungsten prospect, Grouse Peak, Tulare Co., California, USA

A W occurrence/prospect located in sec. 27, T18S, R29E, MDM, 0.2 km (0.1 mile) E of Grouse Peak (coordinates of record) (adjoins the Martin claim), on National Forest land. Active in 1954. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in marble and granodiorite. The ore body is 15.24 meters wid3e and 213.36 meters long. Scheelite is erratically distributed through the tactite body. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include unspecified surface openings.
