A Cu-Cr occurrence/mine located in secs. 6 & 7, T1N, R14E, MDM, about 3.2 miles WNW of Jamestown, along the eastern shore of the New Melones Lake (Reservoir), on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Claim is located W of the Rawhide Mine (secs. 5 & 9).
Vein matter has the appearance of a chloritic schist. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains) and/or ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).
Workings include unspecified surface openings. Slightly prospected.
