A Au-Cu occurrence located in secs. 27 & 28, T1N, R14E, MDM, 1.6 km (5,300 feet) NNE of Montezuma (3 miles S of Jamestown), on private land. Property is comprised of 3 claims. Operated in 1912 & 1917. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Claims adjoin the Mackey Ranch Cu deposits on the S. The Dan Mahon claims are possibly part of this property.

Mineralization is hosted in serpentinite. The ore body is 6.1 meters thick. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains) and/or ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 27.43 meters and comprised of 1 shaft.

Production data are found in: Logan, C. A. (1949): 53 - 54 (see reference).

production information: 1912: 500 tons of low-grade gold ore; 1917: over 200 tons of ore carrying Cu carbonates and sulfides (3% Cu).
