A Au occurrence located about 2.8 miles W of Tuttletown, along the Stanislaus River (Calaveras County line), on a peninsula formed by an extreme bend of the river, on private/formerly private land (the area is now submerged beneath the New Melones Reservoir on Bureau of Reclamation land, except for two islands which represent the highest points on the former point. The property is/was approximately 18 acres. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
