Operated circa 1928 to 1929 and later in 1958 via underground workings, shafts and adits.
"The Kangaroo Flat lead, includes The Avoca workings and Blue Tunnel on the adjoining Clive map sheet, Halls lead, Halls Ionian tin mine, Louisa tin mine."(per Brown R.E.)
