An iron mine in magnetite ore located about ½ mile SW of the O'Neil mine, about 3 miles South of Monroe and just North of Lake Mombasha. Closed 1880. Ore was in feldspathic gneiss. Workings were a pit 400 feet long by 50 feet wide and 50 feet deep.
