A Cu occurrence/prospect with underground workings located in sec. 34, T12S, R11E.
Mineralization is ore in veinlets hosted in schist. The ore zone is 0.01 meters wide, strikes N44W, dips 87W and plunges 77N. Alteration includes quartz-sericite-pyrite. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite. The fault separates Pinal Quartz Phyllite on the E from granitic rock on the W. There may be some quartz sericite alteration with vuggy quartz veinlets adjacent to the fault. Elsewhere granitic rock looks weakly argillized. The vuggy quartz has limonite and minor Cu silicates in vugs. There is also some Cu silicate on fractures.
Local structures include fault breccia; plungs on slicken sides.
Workings include a pit.
