The Cracow Gold mine is part of a series of deposits known as the Cracow gold field.
Underground Au-Ag mine in central Queensland.
Epithermal deposit located near Cracow, an old gold mining town.
Gold was first discovered here in 1875 by itinerant fossickers and a further discovery of a nugget was made by an Aboriginal man in 1916.
Formerly owned by Newcrest Mining Ltd, now owned 100% by Evolution Mining Ltd (2016).
