North of Badgingarra, near the Brand Highway, however a visit is likely to dis-appoint. The surface expression is a low circular 12 kilometre diameter depression.
It was discovered during oil exploration by Ampol, who suggested an impact crater.
It is hosted in Mesozoic rocks, and the depression extends for 2 kilometres below the surface, including a central uplift region, 3 to 4 kilometres in diameter. There are five concentric rings surrounding a single magnetic peak, in the centre of the structure.
