A former small surface and underground Cu-Ag mine located in the SE ¼ sec. 30, T.13S., R.12E. (Avra 7.5 minute topo map), 10 miles NW of Tucson, on National Park land (Saguaro National Monument West). Produced 1907-1954. The ore pod is 2 meters long. Cu silicate occurs on fractures in a massive limonite body. Alteration is pyrite gossan.
