Ref.: Ashley, R.P. (1974), Field Examination (Unnamed Cu prospects 101-56 & 101-57).

MRDS database Dep. ID file #10039750, MRDS ID #M050767.

A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface and underground workings located in sec. 21, T14S, R12E.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in arkose. The ore strikes S80E and dips 34S, and is 0.02 meters thick. Alteration includes quartz-sericite-pyrite. The vein may parallel bedding.

The vein is vuggy quartz with substantial vug space filled with yellow-brown and black limonite. Cu silicate occurs mainly in joints on the footwall side of the vein. The pit and shaft to the S and SW, respectively, have no mineralization; bedding in the shaft is S to S85W, 25S, indicating vein(s) may be parallel or subparallel to bedding. It is not certain whether 2 main prospect pits expose the same vein or two separate veins.

Workings include 2 pits 20 meters apart; another pit & shaft exist within 50 meters to the S & SW.
