A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in sec. 20, T13S, R12E, on National Park land. Part of the Arizona Consolidated Mine group. See crib record-M001019 for general group information and production.
Mineralization is a skarn deposit with a pod-shaped ore body 2 meters wide hosted in arkose. The skarn consists of dense material OF green-black amphibole crystals (individual crystals to several mm), with minor amounts of quartz, epidote, and interstitial limonite. Alteration is skarn. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Workings include a pit.
