The chimney can be seen from much of the Poldice Valley, though it is quite trek to reach it. There are 2 engine houses with plaques attributing them to Consolidated Mines. There appears to be some tip material on the hillside immediately below the engine houses but it is thoroughly overgrown and inaccessible. Two tips are evident in the valley bottom and are assumed to be related to the engine houses. The tip nearest the chimney is of crushed sand and rock suggesting it was part of the processing floor but it contains little other than soft 'rotted' marcasite. A further tip, mostly of rock, is located about 200m further down the slope beside a rough track. Marcasite is very abundant. Dec 2022
