A small tin mine, working five east-west trending lodes in the area between Boscreeg and Resoon farms. Engine Lode, in the northern part of the sett, was opened up from Engine Shaft. The engine was driven by a water wheel served by a leat taken off the Rosemorran stream. The plans, dated 1837, also show an adit, driven westwards from the valley in the east and connecting with Engine Lode. A shaft on this adit is marked by a small burrow in the corner of a field east of Boscreeg farm. The grid reference marks the large burrow on the site of Engine Shaft along a field boundary southeast of Boscreeg farm.
