In the section where all the minerals for each town are listed, with their original references, the chalcanthite entry under Norwich references Hattie Cochrane's 1896 "Rocks and Minerals of Connecticut", basically a list of rocks and minerals by town done for schools. A search of its text using Google Books did not find "chalcanthite". It may have been entered under another name. This reference also lists, "copper" and "chrysocolla". |
