A copper and molybdenum mine (porphyry copper deposit), currently (2010) the largest mine in Mexico. An open pit extracts 90,000 tons/day ore with 0.4% Cu and 0.03% Mo.

Located 200 km NE of the state capital Hermosillo, E of Nacozari, S of Agua Prieta.
